WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a set of actions which involves the stimulation of points on the body using a variety of methods, such as infiltrating the skin with needles that are then used manually or by electrical stimulation.

It is one of the oldest, most usually used systems of healing in the world. It basically originated from China some 3500 years ago.

Current research recommends that acupuncture is more effective than traditional medicines in the relief of certain types of pain and post-operative nausea.

Acupuncture also seems to be a talented treatment option for anxiety, sleep disturbances, and depression.

It is a safe and relaxing form of successful substitute medicine. Acupuncture is managed by carefully inserting a very tiny, sterile needle into a very specific point in the body, also called meridians. These meridians follow the body's natural energy flow where certain points can represent specific organs or body parts.

Major medical conditions under which Acupuncture is prescribed are:
Arthritis
Sprains and strains
Disc herniations
Sciatica
Frozen shoulder
Neck & low back pain
